I am obsessed with this fabric. It makes my heart race and my blood pulse. I want to bathe in it. Recover all of my furniture in it. Absorb it's essence through osmosis. The science is a bit iffy on that one, but don't worry, I was a bio major, I can figure it out.
These bags are all made from vintage blankets handmade in the Atlas mountains in Morocco. Every time I step foot in Marrakech I am immediately drawn in by the unique color combinations of this Haik fabric. Each blanket is one of a kind and an expression of the person who crafted it.
Fabric is a blend of cotton and wool according to the people I've talked to. I do think there is some poly blend worked in there too? I have not done a burn test and I don't know anything solid about fabric, but I did try to iron one for a project and there was a little bit of melt on some fibers. So take that info as you will.
